No. Rezu does not approve, deny, or guarantee any rental application. The Rental Resume and compatibility insights exist to help renters and landlords decide whether it's worth moving forward to a formal application. Final approval decisions are always made by the landlord, property owner, or property manager.

What do compatibility insights actually mean?

Compatibility insights are compatibility indicators based on the information renters and landlords share in their profiles and listings. They suggest where a Rental Resume may be worth a closer look — not whether an application will be approved. Actual outcomes depend on each landlord's screening process and criteria.

Do landlords still need to screen renters?

Yes. Landlords are responsible for their own due diligence — credit checks, background checks, income verification, rental history verification, and any other screening they choose to run. Rezu does not verify or certify renter information.

Why use Rezu if it's not an approval platform?

Rezu is the conversation before the application. Renters focus on listings worth pursuing and avoid wasted application fees. Landlords review organized context up front and spend less time sorting through incomplete inquiries. Both sides decide whether it makes sense to move toward formal screening — before anyone pays for it.

Do renters and landlords pay monthly subscriptions?

No. Renters can upgrade to Renter Plus with a one-time $9 payment for 60 days of full access. Landlords can upgrade individual listings with Landlord Pro for $23 per listing. No monthly subscriptions are required.

Does Rezu take commissions?

No. Rezu is a software platform. Renters and landlords connect directly. There are no commissions, broker fees, or percentages of rent charged by Rezu.

How long does Landlord Pro stay active?

Landlord Pro remains active until the property is marked rented or for 60 days, whichever comes first.

How long does Renter Plus stay active?

Renter Plus remains active for 60 days from the purchase date. After expiration, the account returns to the Free Renter Profile plan unless another pass is purchased.
